Uzui Tengen, the Sound Hashira of Kimetsu no Yaiba, is getting the S.H.Figuarts treatment. The figure is scheduled to go on sale in April 2027 as a general retail release, with reservations already open since Thursday, October 1, 2026. The price is 12,100 yen, tax included.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba began as a manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label, and its 23 collected volumes have pushed cumulative circulation past 220 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family is killed by an oni, as he joins the Kisatsutai and throws himself into battle so that he can turn his younger sister Nezuko, who has become an oni herself, back into a human. Its sorrowful tales of humans and oni, ferocious swordplay, memorable characters, and occasional flashes of comedy have made it a favorite with audiences.
Animation production is handled by ufotable, and the series has expanded steadily since the April 2019 TV anime Kimetsu no Yaiba Kamado Tanjirou Risshi-hen. The film Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugenjou-hen, which stages the final showdown between the Kisatsutai and the oni inside the oni stronghold known as Mugenjou, has been confirmed as a trilogy; its first chapter, Akaza Sairai, opened on July 18, 2025. Although it ultimately missed out on the prize, the film also drew attention as the only Japanese title nominated for the Anime Film category at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, often described as a precursor to the Academy Awards.
A poseable Sound Hashira
S.H.Figuarts Uzui Tengen is an action figure with an outstanding range of articulation that reproduces the Kisatsutai’s Sound Hashira. By making good use of the included Nichirin sword and sarashi and posing him freely, collectors should be able to recreate his fierce battle with Gyuutarou and Daki.
The set is also generous with optional parts, offering four interchangeable expression parts. That is more than enough play value to enjoy Tengen’s dandy persona, so once the figure arrives, it may be worth a trip to your local retailer.
