Moomin and the Nepia Hanaserabu tissue series are joining forces once again. The “Nepia Hanaserabu Tissue Moomin Collaboration Package” has been revealed as the second collaboration between the two, and it is set to go on sale nationwide in limited quantities from late October 2026.
Before the general release, the product will be sold ahead of schedule at “Mori suru Jikan KIITOS MARCHÉ,” an event taking place from October 22 to 24.
A Story First Published in 1945
Moomin is a story first published in 1945 by Finnish author and artist Tove Jansson. It has been told through novels, comics and picture books, and has also been developed into anime works and character goods. The Moomin family, Snufkin, Little My and the rest of the series’ distinctive characters are familiar to a wide range of generations in Japan.
Part of the WITH FOREST PROJECT
The “Nepia Hanaserabu Tissue Moomin Collaboration Package” was created as part of the WITH FOREST PROJECT, an initiative in which Oji Holdings works together with Moomin to communicate the value of forests.
The first collaboration, released in 2025, drew a strong response from longtime Hanaserabu tissue users as well as many Moomin fans, which led to this second collaboration.
Autumn Colors for Moomin, Little My and Snufkin
The new packages feature Moomin, Little My and Snufkin. Moomin appears in a deep navy, Little My in a striking burgundy, and Snufkin in a subdued green, with each base color chosen to bring out the character’s personality as part of an autumn palette.
On the back of the boxes are the Hattifatteners, Stinky and Sniff. Showing a different side from the front, the design lets fans meet the residents of Moominvalley from any angle. The matte-textured box also has its logo finished with foil stamping, adding a quiet sense of quality, and the design is made to fit naturally into interiors as well.
Early Sale at Otemachi Tower
At “Mori no Ichi 2026: Toshi no Mori de Douki suru,” an event held at Otemachi Tower from October 22 to 24, Oji Holdings will exhibit under the name “MOOMIN×OJI ‘Mori suru Jikan KIITOS MARCHÉ'” and will sell the product in limited quantities ahead of its release.
The venue is Otemachi Tower B1F Mori no Plaza. Opening hours run from 11:00 to 20:00, with the final day closing at 17:00.
