The complete 52-episode TV run is not available on Netflix, Hulu, Lemino, Disney+, ABEMA or TELASA.

Subscription Services Streaming Votoms in Full
Three of the services surveyed carry the complete series with unlimited viewing: DMM TV, U-NEXT and d Anime Store. Their monthly fees and trial conditions differ, so the right pick depends on what else you want to watch.
DMM TV

DMM TV streams Votoms as part of its unlimited-viewing catalog at 550 yen a month, with no extra charge for the full run. That makes it possible to work through all 52 episodes, from the streets of Udo to Quent, without paying per episode. First-time subscribers receive a 14-day trial period and 550 points.
DMM TV is one of the more affordable options for unlimited anime streaming, and its lineup spans 1980s real robot titles through to current series.

Renting Votoms: Digital Rental and DVD by Mail
Viewers who do not need unlimited access can rent episodes on Amazon Prime Video or FOD, or borrow the series on DVD through TSUTAYA DISCAS.
Amazon Prime Video

On Amazon Prime Video, Votoms sits outside the unlimited-viewing catalog and is offered as a rental title. In this survey, SD rentals started at 110 yen, charged separately from the Prime membership fee.
Renting suits viewers who want to revisit specific episodes, such as the close-quarters combat between Scope Dogs. For a full run through all 52 episodes, a subscription service works out cheaper.

TSUTAYA DISCAS

TSUTAYA DISCAS delivers the Votoms DVD release to your home. The Fixed-rate Rental 8 Double plan, at 2,200 yen a month, allows up to eight DVDs at a time.
There are no return deadlines or late fees, so all 52 episodes can be watched at your own pace. A DVD player and a television are all that is needed, with no internet connection required.
FOD, the streaming service from the Fuji TV group, also carries Votoms as a rental title. FOD starts at 976 yen a month and does not offer a trial period.
Story and Highlights
Soukou Kihei Votoms is a real robot anime set at the end of the Hundred Years War between Gilgamesh and Balarant. Soldier Chirico Cuvie stumbles onto the military’s top-secret “Soutai” and is forced to flee, embarking on a journey that draws him toward the mystery of his own birth and a conspiracy on a galactic scale.
Synopsis
In the closing phase of the Hundred Years War, Chirico Cuvie takes part in an operation to attack the asteroid Lido, where his own side maintains a base. There he witnesses the military’s highest secret, the “Soutai,” and is hunted by the Melkian army as a result.
After the war ends, Chirico washes up in the city of Udo, where he encounters the “Soutai” once more. As he fights a succession of secret societies, he is drawn into the riddle of his origins and a conspiracy that shakes the galaxy. The story unfolds across Udo, Kumen, Sunsa and Quent.
Highlights
A key draw of the series is its hard-edged mechanical design, which treats the mainstay Armored Trooper (AT) weapon as a disposable piece of equipment. AT machines such as Okawara Kunio’s Scope Dog fight through battlefields caked in mud and gun smoke, giving the action a texture unlike any other robot anime.
Another highlight is the relationship between the taciturn protagonist Chirico and the mysterious woman Fiana. Across all 52 episodes, the story follows Chirico, once a member of the elite Red Shoulder unit, as he travels from battlefield to battlefield in pursuit of Fiana.
Main Characters and Voice Cast
Gouda Hozumi voices Chirico Cuvie, Iyanaga Kazuko plays Fiana, and Ginga Banjou takes the role of Jean-Paul Rochina.
