Chou Kaguya Hime! has revealed the sixth theatrical visitor bonus for its ongoing revival screenings: a set of scene photo postcards from the ‘ray Chou Kaguya Hime! Version’ music video. The bonus will be handed out at participating theaters from October 23, 2026.
A Sixth Postcard Set Drawn From the ray Music Video
The new item, titled ‘ray Chou Kaguya Hime! Version Scene Photo Postcard vol.2,’ consists of six random designs. It follows vol.1, which began distribution the previous week, and uses illustrations from the intro of the music video. That video is built around childhood scenes and afterstory material not shown in the main film. The postcards are A6 size, and each person who watches the film at a screening theater will receive one. Distribution is scheduled through October 29, and screenings in 4DX, SCREENX, and ULTRA 4DX are also eligible. The bonus is available in limited quantities and will end when supplies run out.
Revival Screenings End November 5
The special-format and standard-version revival screenings that began on September 18 will finish on November 5. The audio commentary available through the theater-exclusive secondary audio app HELLO! MOVIE will also end that day.
Second Run and 4DX Encore Plans
A second-run screening of the standard version will begin on November 6. From the same day through November 12, a one-week-only encore screening in 4DX and ULTRA 4DX will also be held. The second-run bonus is a ‘Fanatic Omatsuri Girl’ support uchiwa, while the 4DX and ULTRA 4DX encore will offer a Chou Kaguya Hime! paper clip.
During the encore period, some theaters will also screen a new version called ‘Geni Yasashiki 4DX.’ It has been reworked to reduce intense shaking and to rebalance certain effects with a focus on deepening immersion. The version is intended for viewers who dislike strong stimulation or who are prone to motion sickness from shaking and similar effects. Details of participating theaters will be announced later on the official website.
Film Background and Streaming
Chou Kaguya Hime! is the first feature-length directorial work by animation creator Yamashita Seigo. Set in Tsukuyomi, a virtual space filled with dreams and hope, it depicts meetings and partings between girls and the bonds they form through song. Studio Colorido and Studio Chromato handled animation production, with music provided by ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, HoneyWorks, Aqu3ra, and yuigot.
The film is currently streaming exclusively worldwide on Netflix. As the theatrical revival run enters its final stretch, the visitor bonuses and encore screenings continue to offer chances to see the film on the big screen.
