School Days Set for 24-Hour Christmas Marathon on ABEMA
It has been announced that the anime School Days will receive a free, over-24-hour marathon broadcast on ABEMA, starting from midnight on December 24, 2025. This marks the 10th consecutive year—and 10th time overall—for ABEMA’s annual Christmas special, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original game’s release.
About School Days
School Days is an anime adaptation of an adventure game by Overflow, first released in April 2005. The story revolves around the complicated love triangle between high school student Itou Makoto, his classmate Saionji Sekai, and Kotonoha Katsura, the girl Makoto has a crush on. With its engaging heroines, intense emotional drama, and infamous shocking ending, the series has remained a cult favorite for over 15 years since its 2007 TV debut.
10th Annual Christmas Special
ABEMA’s “Christmas Special Project ‘School Days’ 24+ Hour Free Marathon Broadcast” is back for its tenth straight year. In honor of the original game’s 20th anniversary, the event will run for more than a full day, giving fans plenty of time to dive into the drama.
