Steamy Collaboration: Madoka Magica Meets Japanese Bathhouses

Get ready to soak in some magical vibes! The beloved anime Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica (also known as Madoka Magica) is teaming up with the Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA bathhouse group for a piping hot collaboration event. Starting January 8, 2026, across 19 participating stores, fans can enjoy exclusive goods and character-themed original baths.

About Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica is an original anime that aired from January 2011, spanning 12 episodes. This groundbreaking magical girl story captivated audiences with its blend of everyday life, unpredictable thrills, and a unique worldview where girls and magical girls coexist. It all begins with a mysterious encounter experienced by the protagonist, Kaname Madoka.

The series was followed by compilation movies in 2012: [Zenpen] Hajimari no Monogatari (translated as “The Beginning Story”) and [Kouhen] Eien no Monogatari (“The Eternal Story”). A new chapter arrived in 2013 with [Shinpen] Hangyaku no Monogatari (“Rebellion Story”). The hype continues with the upcoming latest film, Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica 〈Walpurgis no Kaiten〉, scheduled for release in February 2026.

Collaboration Event: “Poka Poka Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica no Yu”

The magical quintet—Kaname Madoka, Akemi Homura, Tomoe Mami, Miki Sayaka, and Sakura Kyouko—will appear in special limited-edition illustrations for this cozy collaboration, titled “Poka Poka Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica no Yu” (which can be translated as “The Warm and Cozy Madoka Magica Bath”).

The “Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Plus Set” comes with a collaboration-limited muffler towel (all 5 types, randomly given).

True to the bathhouse theme, the event features unique offerings like the “Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Plus Set”, which includes a collaboration-limited muffler towel (one of five random designs) for an additional ¥1,100 (tax included) on top of the admission fee. A must-have for any fan!

The Gokurakuyu・RAKU SPA x Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica collaboration “Poka Poka Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica no Yu” runs from January 8 to February 3, 2026 at 19 participating Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA Group stores.

You’ll receive a collaboration original design postcard as a gift while supplies last!
