“Akatsuki no Yona”: Take Photos with Yona, Hak & Suwon♪ Over 220 Original Illustrations on Display! Newly Drawn Goods Also Appear at the “Akatsuki no Yona Grand Original Art Exhibition” Nagoya Venue Starting July 12
It has been announced that the Nagoya venue for the “Grassnagi Mizuho Art Career 20th Anniversary: Akatsuki no Yona Grand Original Art Exhibition,” the largest original art exhibition in the history of the manga Akatsuki no Yona, will be held from July 12 to August 3, 2025, at Telepia Hall. The exhibition will primarily feature displays of numerous original manuscripts and color illustrations created by Grassnagi Mizuho-sensei, along with various three-dimensional structures specially made for the event to immerse visitors in the world of the series.
Akatsuki no Yona is a grand fantasy romance manga by Grassnagi Mizuho-sensei currently serialized in “Hana to Yume”. Set in the Kouka Kingdom, where the founding myths and the legend of the Four Dragons are passed down, the story follows the fate of Princess Yona, the protagonist, and her four warrior companions, the Four Dragons, as their destinies intertwine. The manga was adapted into a TV anime series from October 2014 to March 2015 and has also seen stage play and musical adaptations.
The “Grassnagi Mizuho Art Career 20th Anniversary: Akatsuki no Yona Grand Original Art Exhibition” is being held to commemorate Grassnagi-sensei’s 20th anniversary as a manga artist. This exhibition offers an unprecedented scale, with over 220 points of artwork, including color illustrations drawn over the years and manga manuscripts, all displayed together for visitors to enjoy.

Furthermore, the exhibition space will recreate the world of Akatsuki no Yona with various captivating displays. Visitors can explore a “semi-three-dimensional diorama map” of the continent where Yona and her companions journey freely, and a structural display inspired by the forest where the cheerful Ao (Pukkyuu) lives, showcasing the diverse appearances of Ao. There will also be photo spots recreating scenes from the series and life-sized stands of Yona’s group and Suwon, making photo opportunities another enjoyable highlight of your visit.

Additionally, the merchandise area at the venue will feature goods such as the official art book “AKATSUKI NO YONA ILLUSTRATIONS” and items using the newly drawn key visual for the exhibition. Among the available items are “Frame Art Acrylic Stands”, “Shoppers”, plushies of Yona, Hak, and Suwon, and a “Shoulder Riding Pukkyuu Plushie”. These are perfect souvenirs to commemorate your visit. For every purchase of 5,000 JPY (tax included) or more in merchandise, customers will receive one “Shikishi-style Card” from a selection of 8 designs as a special bonus item.
