Winter Anime “Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai” Episode 2 Preview Released
The story synopsis and preview scene cuts for Episode 2, titled “I Got a Promotion,” of the winter anime Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai have been released. The episode is set to begin broadcasting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai (which can be translated as “In Another World, It’s All Up to the Corporate Slave”) is a unique isekai BL fantasy series based on the novel by August Hachi, which has sold over 2 million copies. The story follows Kondo Seiichiro, a salaryman in his late twenties who gets caught up in a saint summoning and is transferred to the fantasy kingdom of Români. Even in another world, he ends up working in the accounting department, where he meets the ice-cold nobleman Areshu Indoraaku and others. It’s a fresh take on fantasy that blends otherworldly adventures, workplace dynamics, and BL elements, where working hard actually triggers romance flags!
What’s Happening in Episode 2: “I Got a Promotion”
After suffering from poisoning due to the nutrition potion, Seiichiro manages to survive thanks to Areshu’s healing magic and a special “mana acclimation” treatment.
However, the very next morning, despite nearly dying, Seiichiro prioritizes work and rushes off to the office.
Areshu is left exasperated by Seiichiro’s behavior, but for some reason, he can’t just leave him be and takes Seiichiro to the medical bureau.
There, an examination by the head of the medical bureau, Shiiro, reveals that Seiichiro has no resistance to mana or magical elements… What will this mean for him?
Episode 2 “I Got a Promotion” of the winter anime Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai will air on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels starting January 13 (Tuesday).
