Meet Our Star-Crossed (Literally) Duo
The heart of this chaotic romance beats with two fantastic voice actors. Playing the male lead, Narukami Ryuusei, is the incredibly versatile Jun Fukuyama (famous for Riku in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!). Opposite him as the fiery female lead, Hanaori Meteor, is Akira Sekine (who you might know as Honoka in Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria). Get ready for some serious sparks to fly when these two bring the manga’s iconic dynamic to life.

From Manga Pages to the Silver Screen
The story began in the pages of Monthly Morning Two magazine back in August 2021, courtesy of mangaka Hekiru Hikawa (who also worked on Paniponi Dash!). The manga has been charming readers with its unique premise, with Kodansha publishing the eighth volume as recently as September 2025. For international fans, Seven Seas Entertainment has the license, with their English release of the second volume scheduled for October 26, 2025.
The Wait Begins…
While the newly released teaser promo (which you can find on the official anime X account) gives us a gorgeous first look, we’ll have to hold onto our excitement a bit longer. The full premiere is set for 2026. It looks like this story of a goddess and a demon lord destined to brawl across lifetimes is in very capable hands.
