About Haikyuu!!
Haikyuu!! is a manga by Furudate Haruichi that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It vividly portrays high school boys pouring their hearts and souls into volleyball, capturing the essence of youth and teamwork.
The TV anime adaptation kicked off in 2014, winning over audiences worldwide. Fast forward to February 16, 2024, and the movie Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Gomisuteba no Kessen (which can be translated as “Haikyuu!! The Movie: The Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump”) hit theaters, raking in over 20 billion yen globally. The excitement doesn’t stop there—2027 is set to bring even more action with the release of Gekijouban Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin (Haikyuu!! The Movie: VS The Small Giant), featuring the epic clash between Karasuno High School and Oodai High School, along with the special anime Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Iku Tokoro (Haikyuu!! Where the Monsters Go), which will depict the intense battle between Fukuroudani Gakuen High School and Nohebi High School.
