Get Ready for a WIND BREAKER Binge-Watch! All Episodes Free on ABEMA!
Great news for fans of the hit delinquent anime, WIND BREAKER! It has been announced that episodes 1 all the way up to the latest episode will be available for a free marathon broadcast on the “New Future TV” platform, ABEMA, on May 30th and 31st, 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to catch up or rewatch the entire story of this immensely popular series in one go!
WIND BREAKER is based on the highly popular delinquent manga by Nii Satoru, serialized on Kodansha’s official app, “Magazine Pocket”. The story follows Sakura Haruka, a lonely delinquent high schooler who arrives at Furin Koukou, a school notoriously known for its tough students, aiming to reach the top in fights. However, he soon discovers that Furin Koukou is now home to a group dedicated to protecting the town known as Boufuurin. Sakura Haruka joins their ranks and the series depicts his journey as he fights alongside his companions and grows stronger.
The manga is a consistent chart-topper on “Magazine Pocket” and its tankoubon volumes are instant hits, requiring repeated print runs. The TV anime adaptation first aired its Season 1 from April to June 2024, and Season 2 began airing in April 2025, garnering even more attention.
ABEMA will be hosting a free binge broadcast covering episodes 1 through the latest episode 22. These marathon sessions will take place three times over May 30th and 31st. Furthermore, all episodes will be available for free streaming for one week following the broadcast.
For those keeping up with the current season, WIND BREAKER Season 2 is being simulcast and exclusively pre-streamed on ABEMA every Thursday at 24:26 JST (which is effectively Friday 12:26 AM JST), three days ahead of other platforms. The latest episodes are broadcast for free simultaneously with the ground broadcast on the “ABEMA Anime Channel” and are available for free viewing for one week afterwards.
