The Blu-ray Animate Limited Set for the movie “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-” will be released on May 13.
“Hypnosis Mic” is a music-original character rap project that launched in September 2017. With music rich in character personality and narrative audio dramas as its core, it has expanded into various media mixes including comics, app games, stage plays, and anime.
Released in 2025, “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-” is Japan’s first interactive audience participation film, where rap battle outcomes are decided by votes from theatergoers. It was a major hit, attracting 1.12 million viewers and grossing over 2.7 billion yen.
On this Blu-ray, the outcomes that were previously determined by audience votes can now be selected by the viewer. A voting menu screen allows for this selection.
