From the anime Haikyuu!!, players from Aoba Johsai High School and Datekou Industrial High School have been transformed into cute deformed illustrations for a new lineup of goods. Pre-orders are now open at “Vivid” (a character goods and anime merchandise retailer) starting May 13, 2026.
Anime Haikyuu!! “mochocho series”
Haikyuu!! is a manga by Haruichi Furudate that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It depicts the story of high school boys giving their all to volleyball in their youth.
The TV anime began airing in 2014. The film Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle was released on February 16, 2024, surpassing 20 billion yen worldwide. In 2027, Haikyuu!! VS The Little Giant, featuring a match between Karasuno and Ouga Academy, is set to premiere, along with the special anime Haikyuu!! Where the Monsters Go, which will depict the battle between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka High School.
Now being sold are goods from the immensely popular newly drawn mini character series “mochocho series.” From the anime Haikyuu!!, players from Aoba Johsai—including Tooru Oikawa and Hajime Iwaizumi—and from Datekou—including Takanobu Aone and Kenji Futakuchi—appear as adorable mini characters.
In addition to standard items like acrylic keychains, clear card stickers, and acrylic stands, a large acrylic stand is also available. Full-color printing brings the characters to life vividly.
There are also a variety of badges in cute star, leather, and hexagonal shapes. The face towels feature the characters and the words “HAIKYU!!” printed on them.

Other items include T-shirts in two colorways (black and white), compact mirrors, and flat clear pouches that are useful in daily life. The hair clips come in two types—character and volleyball—and can be attached to pockets or used as a small accent.
