Monchhichi, born in Japan and loved worldwide, is a plush toy character with an adorable pacifier pose and freckles. The name combines French “mon” (my) and “petit” (small cute thing), meaning “my cute thing.” Since their debut in 1974, they have evolved with the times, selling over 70 million units in more than 30 countries. Still beloved by many fans, they celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2024.
