Noto Satoyama Airport, the gateway to tourism in the Noto region, will be reborn as the world’s first airport to bear the Pokémon name: “Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport,” opening for a limited time. The airport will open on July 7, 2026 (Tuesday) and is scheduled to run until September 30, 2029 (Sunday).

Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport
The Pokémon With You Foundation and Ishikawa Prefecture have been working together under a collaboration agreement to bring smiles to areas affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, supporting efforts to cheer up children and revitalize tourism in the region.
As part of these efforts, the renovated “Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport” will feature a large balloon of Pikachu and an airplane floating in the two-story atrium, with many Pokémon decorating the surrounding area as if flying through the sky. This atrium and other parts of the airport grounds will be adorned with all 111 Flying-type Pokémon discovered as of May 2026.

The airport’s exterior upper portion will also feature a logo mark. At the entrance pillars, a lineup of Pokémon will create the excitement of starting a journey.
In addition, Pokémon decorations can be enjoyed at various locations, including the airport entrances and exits and the boarding bridge connecting the airport to the plane. On the second-floor walls, decorations depicting the daily lives of Pokémon as they might unfold at airports around the world will be displayed. Look closely, and some of the guidance signs throughout the airport have been given a Pokémon version.

On the observation deck, countless Pikachu figures have been arranged to express the “satoyama” (traditional rural landscape). Look closely, and some other Pokémon have joined the Pikachu, adding a fun element of searching.
Original Short Videos
Inside the airport, visitors can enjoy three original short videos using their smartphones. One of them, “Fly, Bagon!” tells the story of a Bagon that dreams of the sky. A monument of a Bagon looking up at a Salamence is placed in the airport, linking with the video. The other two stories are also original tales that add a little fun to the airport or a trip to the Noto Peninsula.

Original Art: “Sky of Hope”

An original artwork titled “Sky of Hope” created to commemorate the airport’s opening will be displayed. Through depictions of many Flying-type Pokémon, dazzling light, and sparkling rainbows, it expresses the longing for the sky, the joy of flying freely, and the “hope” for a new journey. This artwork will be used in various decorations throughout the airport, original goods sold at the shop, and on wrapping buses.
Original Menu

Pokémon Wrapping Buses
From mid-July, Pokémon wrapping buses will begin operation. Express buses connecting Kanazawa Station, the airport, and Wajima City, as well as a loop bus connecting Pokémon tourist spots around the Noto Peninsula, will be wrapped. This loop bus is convenient for visiting Pokémon spots that can only be enjoyed on the Noto Peninsula, such as the “Wakura Pokémon Foot Bath” opened in Nanao City’s Wakura Onsen and the “Sylveon with LOVE” monument in Suzu City.
