
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the television anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s action fantasy manga Yomi no Tsugai (Daemons of the Shadow Realm) announced on Saturday that two new voice actors are joining the cast. The series premiered on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other stations on April 4 at 11:30 p.m.
Veteran voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi (known for InuYasha) and Yoshiko Sakakibara (Hellsing) will voice the characters Hikaru Kagemori and Kai, respectively.

Masahiro Andou (Stranger: Mukou Hadan) directs the anime at Bones Film. Noboru Takagi (Golden Kamuy) handles series composition, Nobuhiro Arai (Hitsugi no Chaika) designs the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro (Goblin Slayer) composes the music.
Arakawa started serializing the manga in Shounen Gangan in December 2021. Square Enix published the 12th volume on March 12. The manga is licensed in English by Square Enix, which released the tenth volume on April 7 and will release the 11th volume on August 11.
