The beloved Oni sisters Ram and Rem from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World are the latest additions to the KADOKAWA PLASTIC MODEL SERIES. The DX versions come with both their regular in-series costumes and original swimsuit parts, and allow builders to assemble both figures at once.
Re:Zero began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in April 2012 and has been published in print by MF Bunko J since January 2014. The story follows Natsuki Subaru, a boy suddenly summoned to another world who gains the power of “Return by Death,” allowing him to reverse time upon dying. The series has exceeded 16 million copies worldwide including digital. The 4th season, directed by Shinohara Masaharu and animated by WHITE FOX, is split into the “Loss Arc” (11 episodes) and the “Recovery Arc” (8 episodes).
In the 3rd season, Subaru and his allies barely won the deadly battle in the water gate city of Pristella, but at a great cost. Rem remains asleep due to the Authority of Gluttony, Crusch lost her memories, and Julius lost his name. Seeking clues to save them, Subaru learns of the Sage Shaula, said to have all knowledge.
The figures feature articulation suited to each character, allowing iconic poses. Ram includes three face parts: expressionless, angry, and a “looking down” expression, plus a bangs part for angry face, a staff, a deck brush, five wrist parts, and display bases.
Rem comes with three face parts: a smile, an “oni face” (demon transformation), and a crying expression. Also included are a bangs part for oni face, a morning star, four wrist parts, and display bases so you can recreate her wielding the flail.
The DX versions add original swimsuit bodies to the regular costume sets, enabling you to build both figures at the same time. Additionally, Ram gets an extra “smile” face part, and Rem gets a “smile (mouth open)” face part.
All versions are scheduled for release in November 2026. Kadokawa Store (Kadost) offers special limited sets that include a steel toolbox from Toyo Steel Co., Ltd. printed with a deformed illustration and colored in Ram’s pink or Rem’s light blue.
