The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Tetsuhiro Koshita’s sequel team sports manga, Honoo no Toukyuujo: Dodge Danko, has revealed additional cast members, staff, theme song artists, and the main promotional video. The anime is set to premiere on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 every Monday at 11:00 p.m., starting July 6.

Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover Z (Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi) performs the opening theme “Kaishin no Ichigeki,” while i☆Ris (Mahou Shoujo Site) performs the ending theme “Welcome to Azatosa World.” Both are previewed in the main promotional video.
Ikehata Hiroshi (Witch Watch) is directing the anime at Cue. Hyoudou Kazuho (Tonikaku Kawaii) is handling series composition, and Sekikawa Narihito (Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru.) is designing the characters.
Koshita Tetsuhiro began serializing the sequel team sports manga in Weekly CoroCoro Comic in November 2022. Shogakukan published the sixth volume in August 2025. The original Dodge Danpei manga ran in Monthly CoroCoro Comic in 1989, with 18 volumes concluding in June 1995.
