Anime Blue Lock fans can now enjoy a probiotic boost with their favorite characters. A collaboration package between the series and Nisshin York’s Pilkuru drink, titled “Pilkuru × Blue Lock: Become a Healthy Egoist! Package,” will be released nationwide (excluding Okinawa) from June 8, 2026, in limited quantities. A special website is also streaming an exclusive alternate story based on the concept, “What if the Blue Lock characters drank Pilkuru?”
About Blue Lock
Blue Lock is based on the soccer manga by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yuusuke, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story follows the “Blue Lock” project, an initiative by the Japan Football Union to create a striker who can lead the country to a World Cup victory. Three hundred high school forwards are gathered and forced into a brutal survival competition, fighting for their place. The series has captivated readers worldwide with its unconventional premise, egoistic characters, and unpredictable plot, surpassing 50 million copies in cumulative circulation. After a TV anime that started in 2022, a theatrical film in 2024, and expansions into mobile games and stage plays, a live-action film is scheduled for August 7, 2026, and a new TV anime series is in production.
This collaboration with Pilkuru marks the first tie-up between the series and the dairy drink brand.
Collaboration Details: Three Teams, Twelve Characters
Following the in-series “team division system,” the twelve characters aiming to become the world’s best striker have been split into three teams, each paired with a Pilkuru product variant:
Team Sleep: Pilkuru Miracle Care (4 types)
The “Pilkuru Miracle Care” package features Nagi Seishirou, Bachira Meguru, Chigiri Hyoma, and Kunigami Rensuke, characters associated with rest and condition management.
Team Immunity: Pilkuru Immuno Style (4 types)
The “Pilkuru Immuno Style” package features Isagi Yoichi, Itoshi Rin, Barou Shoei, and Gagamaru Gin, characters who fight powerfully while adapting to change.
Team Aging Life: Pilkuru Aging Life (4 types)
