The official website for the television anime adaptation of Amara‘s Neko to Ryuu (The Cat and the Dragon) light novel has revealed the supporting cast and a new promotional video on Thursday. The anime is set to premiere on Tokyo MX at 9:00 p.m. on July 4, with subsequent broadcasts on BS NTV and Yomiuri TV.

Amara began serializing the fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2013. Takarajimasha began publishing the light novel in April 2016, with illustrations by Okuma Mai. The ninth volume was released in November 2025.
A manga adaptation by Sasaki Izumi began serializing on Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Web in September 2017. The 12th volume was released in November 2025.
A new promotional video was also unveiled.
