Happy Birthday, Kimura Subaru-san! “Who is Your Favorite Character He Voiced?” Deadline: June 18th
Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader survey titled “What is your favorite character voiced by Kimura Subaru?” for the second consecutive year to celebrate Kimura Subaru-san’s birthday. The deadline is June 18th.
June 29th is Kimura Subaru-san’s birthday.
Kimura Subaru-san debuted in 2005 as Gian in Doraemon. He received the Singing Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards as a member of Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-, and the Influencer Award at this year’s 19th Seiyu Awards.
From 2024 to 2025, he has appeared in numerous titles such as One Piece, Isekai Suicide Squad, Nyaito of the Living Cat, and the movie Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-. He has also done many dubs for overseas works like Transformers/ONE and Sonic x Shadow Tokyo Mission.
He is also active in television programs, including hosting the children’s variety show Oha Suta. He ranked high in the talent television appearance count rankings in 2024, following his high ranking in 2023.
To celebrate Kimura Subaru-san’s birthday, we are conducting a reader survey titled “What is your favorite character voiced by Kimura Subaru?” for the second consecutive year. Please provide your answer in a free-response format, stating the character and the work name you have in mind.
*This includes all characters he has voiced in TV anime, movies, OVAs, streaming works, games, drama CDs, stage plays, dubbing, live-action, etc.
*Please limit your response to one per person.
