Character designer Akemi Takada will hold a solo exhibition titled “Takada Akemi Exhibition -Angel Touch-2026” from June 25 to July 12, 2026, at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop in Gotanda, Tokyo.
The exhibition will feature original artworks from the anime Magical Angel Creamy Mami, for which Takada served as character designer, as well as original works. Autographed prints (88 Graph) and commemorative goods will be available for purchase.
Making-of Video and Special Events
As a special feature, a making-of video showing the coloring process of an illustration will be played on monitors at the venue, running approximately 15 minutes. A short version of the making-of video for a newly drawn piece is also planned for release on Studio Pierrot’s official YouTube channel.
For the first 100 visitors who purchase an original artwork or an 88 Graph at the venue, a signing event will be held on July 12 from 14:00 to 16:30. Takada will inscribe a special shikishi (colored paper) with the buyer’s name and her signature.
Additionally, customers who spend 5,000 yen or more (tax included) at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop will receive an art card (pearl finish) at random, with three different designs available.
SNS Campaign
To commemorate the exhibition, a campaign is underway on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Follow the official account and repost or like the campaign post for a chance to win a signed Magical Angel Creamy Mami poster. A total of four winners will be selected.

On the first day, June 25, entry will be by timed reservation only. Reservations open on June 13 at 12:00 noon on a first-come, first-served basis. On the final day, July 12, only those participating in the signing event will be allowed entry.
