Evangelion’s Misato Katsuragi Gets a Stunning New Figure
HOBBYMAX has opened pre-orders for a new 1/7 scale figure of Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The “Misato Katsuragi: Comics Ver.” brings the NERV operations director to life in a pose directly inspired by a manga cover illustration.
The Evangelion series began with the 1995 TV anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, chronicling the battle between children piloting the humanoid Evangelion units and the mysterious Angels. The saga continued with the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, which concluded with Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time in 2021.
This figure captures Misato Katsuragi, the operations director of the special agency NERV, based on a manga cover illustration. Her jacket is casually draped, and her body is slightly tilted, exuding the mature charm that defines her character.
The outfit features a glossy, leather-like paint finish, while her iconic purple hair is replicated with delicate gradient coloring.
The handgun in her left hand adds a tense accent to the figure, evoking the high-stakes world of Evangelion. The figure is priced at 23,980 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release in April 2027.
