The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yuuki Hiro‘s Nijusseiki Denki Mokuroku (20th Century Electricity Catalog) light novel unveiled additional cast, a third key visual, and the third promotional video on Sunday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on July 5 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and exclusively worldwide on Netflix, followed by BS11, ABC TV, and TV Aichi.

Oota Minoru (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S episode director) is helming the anime at Kyoto Animation, with Urahata Tatsuhiko (Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) handling the series composition. Okamura Kouhei (Free! Movie: The Final Stroke) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director, while Suzuki Takaaki (Violet Evergarden) is in charge of world design. Koto Hitomi is composing the music.
Background
The light novel won Honorable Mention at the 8th Kyoto Animation Award in 2017. Yuuki published the title under Kyoto Animation KA Esuma Bunko label with illustrations by Ikeda Kazumi (Hibike! Euphonium 3 character design) in August 2018.
