A delightful new collaboration between Moomin and Japanese bakery Hattendo has arrived just in time for summer. On June 15, 2026, Hattendo will begin selling a limited-edition “Cream Pan Blueberry” featuring a charming Moomin design—the brand’s first Moomin-themed cream bun in three years and a reprise of a popular package from four years ago.
The star of the package is Moomin himself, hugging a large jar of jam, just as he did on the original 2022 limited edition. The cool light-blue packaging is perfect for the warmer months and makes an ideal treat for oneself or a thoughtful gift for loved ones.
Inside the soft, fluffy bread is a filling of blueberry jam made to highlight the fruit’s natural flavor, paired with a gentle, sweet milk cream. The combination of refreshing tartness and smooth sweetness creates a balanced, satisfying taste.
This product is available only at Hattendo’s permanent physical stores across Japan (excluding some locations). It will not be sold online, and quantities are limited, so fans are encouraged to check early.
