Psyren TV Anime Airs October 2026 on TOKYO MX and BS11, Second Teaser PV Revealed

The upcoming TV anime adaptation of PSYREN -サイレン- is set to begin broadcasting in October 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels. Alongside the announcement, a second teaser PV has been released, offering a first look at actual anime footage.

PSYREN -サイレン- is a psychic battle suspense manga by Iwashiro Toshiaki, originally serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2008 to 2010. The story begins when high school freshman Yoshina Ageha finds a red telephone card left in a public phone booth. A few days later, his childhood friend and classmate Amamiya Sakurako, who also had the same card, disappears. Ageha contacts the rumored “Secret Society Psyren” believed to be behind the nationwide “kamikakushi” disappearance incidents. A life-or-death game begins.

The series has maintained a strong fanbase even about 15 years after its conclusion, having been nominated three times in the “Manga We Want to See Animated” ranking at AnimeJapan. The TV anime is directed by Ono Katsumi, with animation production by Satellite. The cast includes Yasuda Rikuya as Yoshina Ageha, Kazama Mayu as Amamiya Sakurako, Takeuchi Shunsuke as Asakawa Hiryuu, Saitou Souma as Mochizuki Oboro, and Nozuyama Yukihiro as Kirisaki Kabuto.

The newly released second teaser PV provides the first animated look at the series. It depicts the beginning of the story as Ageha, searching for his vanished childhood friend Sakurako, accesses the notorious “Secret Society Psyren.” Later in the video, glimpses of battle scenes between Ageha and Sakurako in the mysterious “Psyren world” are shown, promising intense action and raising anticipation for the series.
