TV anime 『「きみを愛する気はない」と言った次期公爵様がなぜか溺愛してきます』 (shortened as 『きみ愛』) has released seven new scene cuts showcasing the stark contrast between the perfect gentleman and the cold-hearted elite noble, Julius Loias.
The series is a heartwarming romantic comedy about Elsa Yucarainen, an optimistic but impoverished fallen aristocratic lady, and Julius Loias, the next duke who is elite yet awkward and complicated. Their story begins on the day they meet when, driven by mutual interest, they enter a “contract marriage.” Over time, as they spend days together and touch each other’s kindness, they gradually open their hearts, become a “two-sided unrequited love,” and eventually grow into a “real couple” and “family.”
The newly released scene cuts highlight two contrasting sides of Julius. First, as the “perfect gentleman”: in scenes presumed to be before the wedding, he gazes at Elsa with a soft smile, escorts her gracefully, and kisses her hand—the very image of a suave, flawless nobleman.

On the other hand, glimpses of his “coldness” appear in cuts where Julius stares at Elsa with icy eyes. Because this marriage is a contract of convenience, he coldly declares, “I have no intention of loving you at all,” pushing her away. The background for such behavior seems to lie in Julius’s childhood. While he tries to maintain a dry married life due to the contract, his attitude begins to change as he comes into contact with Elsa’s straightforward and warm heart.

The TV anime 『きみ愛』 will begin airing on July 4, 2026, every Saturday at 1:30 a.m. on the TV Asahi network’s national 24-station “NUMAnimation” slot, and on BS Asahi every Monday at 11:24 p.m.
