Nintama Rantarou x Tobu Doubutsu Kouen Collaboration Event Announced! Head to the Zoo for “Minna de Shiiku Jisshuu no Dan”!
Get ready for a delightful collaboration event! An anime 『Nintama Rantarou』 collaboration titled “Nintama Rantarou x Tobu Doubutsu Kouen ~ Minna de Shiiku Jisshuu no Dan ~” will be held from July 26 to August 31, 2025, at Tobu Doubutsu Kouen, a hybrid leisure land located in Saitama Prefecture. This event will feature brand new illustrations themed around the ‘Nintama’ students’ “animal care practical training” (飼育実習)!
『Nintama Rantarou』 is a beloved anime series that has captivated a wide range of generations since its television broadcast began in 1993. It is based on the manga 『Rakudai Ninja Rantarou』 by Amako Soubee sensei, which started serialization in the “Asahi Shougakusei Shinbun” back in 1986.
Set in Japan’s Sengoku period, the story follows the bright, fun, and cheerful everyday lives of Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbe’e – a trio of “ninja no tamago” (ninja apprentices or ninja eggs) – as they learn and grow at Ninjutsu Gakuen (Ninja Academy).

On December 20, 2024, 『Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninjatai Saikyou no Gunshi』 (The Movie: Nintama Rantarou: The Dokutake Ninja Corps’ Strongest Strategist) was released, an animated adaptation of the highly popular novel 『Shousetsu Rakudai Ninja Rantarou Dokutake Ninjatai Saikyou no Gunshi』. The movie depicted a story that was a little different from the usual ‘Nintama’ fare, starting with Doi-sensei losing contact after heading to a duel with Tasogaredoki ninja Morozumi Sonnamon, and unfolding into a more serious development.
This “Nintama Rantarou x Tobu Doubutsu Kouen ~ Minna de Shiiku Jisshuu no Dan ~” event features brand new illustrations of the ‘Nintama’ students designed with the theme of “animal care practical training.” To commemorate the event, a special Collaboration Entry Ticket will be sold at the park’s entrance gate ticket windows. This ticket set includes a Replica Ticket and an Original Ticket Holder, both featuring these newly drawn illustrations.
