The male voice actor special issue TV Guide VOICE STARS vol.38 is set to release on July 13, 2026 (Monday) at bookstores and online retailers nationwide. Published by Tokyo News Communication, the magazine is priced at 1,650 yen.
Tsuda Kenjirou on the Cover
Front cover star Tsuda Kenjirou appears in a summer-sky-inspired refreshing gravure feature. The opening special focuses on his role in the upcoming film TOKYO MER ~Running Emergency Room~ CAPITAL CRISIS, opening August 21 (Friday). In the interview, Tsuda discusses his feelings about joining the popular series for the first time, his approach to character building, and his unique perspective on life choices as a continuing voice actor and performer.
Hirose Yuuya’s Artist Debut
The back cover features Hirose Yuuya, who makes his artist debut on July 8 (Wednesday) with the first album Focus. A 16-page feature looks back at his career and explores the resolve behind his decision to debut at the milestone age of 30. The magazine also includes exclusive coverage from the music video shoot for Velvet Parade, offering an in-depth look at “artist Hirose Yuuya.”
Sikufoni Makes First Appearance
The 2.5-dimensional talent group Sikufoni, known for their dual activities in illustrated video distribution and real-life live performances, appears for the first time in the magazine. A 16-page special feature covers the group’s current state as they approach their fourth anniversary, their journey so far, interviews with all six members, a 10-question segment highlighting each member’s personality, and newly taken 3D illustrations. Additionally, a report and exclusive cuts from the final performance of their largest-ever 2nd Live Tour “-RAGE-” are included.
In a special project, Sikufoni members sit down for a talk with Kaji Yuuki, who serves as producer for the voice AI project “Soyogi Fractal.” The exclusive interview covers the AI project and broader entertainment topics, marking their first face-to-face conversation.
Sikufoni Limited Cover Edition
A limited edition featuring a double-sided cover with newly drawn illustrations by popular illustrator gawako will also be available. This is the first time the magazine has used a double-sided cover with illustrations. The limited cover edition is sold at Amazon and Animate (both with different store bonuses).
