The fourth series of Gakuen Idolmaster wafers, titled Gakuen Idolmaster Wafer 4, is set to launch in November 2026 at snack sections of mass retailers nationwide. Each pack will be priced at 176 yen (tax included).
Gakuen Idolmaster (abbreviated as GakuMas) is the latest installment in the Idolmaster franchise, released in 2024. It is an idol training simulation game set at the idol training school Hatsuboshi Gakuen, where players take on the role of a producer guiding aspiring idols through various challenges and charms. Since its app debut on May 16, 2024, the series has expanded into CDs, merchandise, and live events, allowing fans to enjoy school life with the new generation of idols.
Each pack of Gakuen Idolmaster Wafer 4 contains a newly drawn card featuring idols including Hanaumi Saki, Ume Temari, and Himesaki Kotone, dressed in costumes inspired by the vanilla cream flavor of the wafer included alongside the card. The cards are designed as premium metallic placards, making them a satisfying collectible. A total of 29 different placard designs are available.
