Big news for manga fans! An official television anime adaptation of Yawora Tsugumi’s popular web manga, Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou, is officially in the works and aiming for a Winter 2026 premiere. The announcement came alongside the launch of an official website for the anime.
About the Series
The original manga, Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou, comes from the pen of Yawora Tsugumi. It has been serialized on both Manga Park and Young Animal Web since December 2022. Production company Kadokawa is involved in bringing this unique story to the screen.

Yawora Tsugumi’s manga has been quite the hit, with Hakusensha publishing the physical volumes. The fifth volume was released in December 2024, and fans can look forward to the sixth volume dropping on June 27th. The series boasts a cumulative 300,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.
Its popularity is further highlighted by its performance in recent awards. Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou ranked sixth in the web manga category at the 2023 Next Manga Awards and also secured the fifth spot in the 2023 Web Manga General Election.
