New merchandise from Haikyuu!! featuring original illustrations by the popular character design team “mamekichi mameko” has been announced. The lineup includes two themed series: “Animal Together ver.,” which shows characters playing with animal mascots, and “Favorite Food ver.,” which transforms the characters into animals themselves. Reservations are now open at anime goods stores and various e-commerce sites across Japan.
Haikyuu!! is a manga by Furudate Haruichi that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It depicts high school boys dedicating their youth to volleyball. The TV anime began airing in 2014. The theatrical film Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle was released on February 16, 2024, and surpassed 20 billion yen worldwide. In 2027, a new film Haikyuu!! VS The Little Giant featuring Karasuno vs. Seijoh, and a special anime Haikyuu!! Where the Monsters Go focusing on Fukurodani vs. Mujinazaka are scheduled.
Animal Together ver.
The “Animal Together ver.” series includes a photo card collection, acrylic stand, glitter can badge collection, and name keyholder collection. The designs feature characters alongside cute animal mascots.
Favorite Food ver.
The “Favorite Food ver.” series includes an acrylic ring stand, glitter can badge collection, die-cut cushion, face pouch, and snack can. These items depict the characters transformed into animals: Hinata becomes a crow (Hinagarasu), Kageyama a crow (Kagegarasu), Tsukishima a crow (Tsukigarasu), Nishinoya a crow (Noyagarasu), Kuroo a cat (Kurooneko), Kenma a cat (Kemmaneko), Yaku a cat (Yakuneko), and Inuoka a cat (Inuokaneko).
Sticker Set and Pet Items
A Haikyuu!! sticker 4-pack set is also available, with four types: “Animal Together ver. Karasuno High,” “Animal Together ver. Nekoma High,” “Favorite Food ver. Karasuno Crows,” and “Favorite Food ver. Nekoma Cats.” The set is open-spec, meaning the contents are random.
Additionally, pet-oriented items such as the Haikyuu!! walking pouch and Haikyuu!! pet bed have been introduced. These allow fans to enjoy the Haikyuu!! world together with their dogs or cats.
