Get ready, fans of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto! The “『Kusuriya no Hitorigoto』 POP UP SHOP in Marui vol.2” is coming to two locations: Kobe Marui starting July 4, 2025, and Yuurakuchou Marui starting August 8, 2025.
About Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a palace mystery entertainment based on the popular novel series by Hyuga Natsu, published under “Hero Bunko” and also serialized as manga in “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX”. The series has surpassed a cumulative 38 million copies sold. Set in a fictional ancient East Asian imperial court, it depicts Maomao, a young girl who serves as a “poison taster,” solving various difficult cases that occur within the palace one after another.
The first season of the TV anime started airing in October 2023, and the second season began in January 2025. The series gathers attention, consistently ranking high on viewing charts across various streaming platforms. Starting March 26 this year, the first ever exhibition, “TV Anime 『Kusuriya no Hitorigoto』 Exhibition”, began, and a collaboration event at Universal Studios Japan is also scheduled for this summer. It looks like the excitement for the series is set to continue!

At the “『Kusuriya no Hitorigoto』 POP UP SHOP in Marui vol.2”, a wide variety of new goods featuring newly drawn illustrations of Maomao and Jinshi based on the concept of “Playing in the Water” will be available for pre-sale.
The trading goods lineup includes Trading Glitter Can Badges, Trading Acrylic Cards, and Trading Illustration Cards.
The BIG Acrylic Stands, Acrylic Diorama, and A5 Acrylic Panel feature designs that let you enjoy the full body view of the two characters from the newly drawn illustrations, which is great.
Furthermore, the adorable “chibitoko” series also features Gaoshun, Gyokuyou-hi, Lihua-hi, Jusui-hi, Rouran-hi, Shaoran, and Shisui, in addition to Maomao and Jinshi!
Also, if you purchase 3,000 yen (including tax) or more of related merchandise at the event shop and use or present your Epos Card, you can participate in a raffle once per transaction. Prizes include Canvas Boards and Bromides.
