A new collaboration between the anime Haikyuu!! and the steakhouse chain Ikinari! Steak is set to run from July 17 to August 23, 2026. The event brings together six members of Inarizaki High School’s volleyball team, featuring newly drawn illustrations of the players.
Collaboration Overview
Haikyuu!! is the manga by Furudate Haruichi that originally ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, depicting high school boys dedicating their youth to volleyball. The TV anime began in 2014, and the theatrical film Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle (Gomisuteba no Kessen) was released on February 16, 2024, surpassing 20 billion yen worldwide. Upcoming projects include the film Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin in 2027, pitting Karasuno against Kamomedai, and a special anime titled Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Iku Tokoro covering the match between Fukurodani and Mujinazaka.
For this collaboration, the chain is rebranded as “Inarizaki! Steak,” featuring Miya Atsumu, Miya Osamu, Suna Rintarou, Ojiro Aran, Kita Shinsuke, and Ginjima Yuki. Newly drawn illustrations of the six characters have been released.
Collaboration Menu and Novelties
Customers who order a collaboration food item will receive a limited-edition novelty. From July 17 to August 4, a random “name tag style card” (six types) will be given out. From August 5 to August 23, the giveaway switches to a random “visual card” (also six types).
The special menu includes three dishes themed after Inarizaki High School:
- Twins Combo (Wild Steak & Hire Cut)
- 3rd Year Steak (Hire Cut Steak)
- 2nd Year Steak (Wild Steak)
Each collaboration menu item comes with exclusive toppings and a novelty.
During the campaign, the paper napkins provided will feature a special Inarizaki collaboration logo. Additionally, customers who show their Ikinari! Steak official app membership card at checkout can receive a collaboration smartphone wallpaper featuring the newly drawn visuals.
Wrapped Stores and Exclusive Goods
Five stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Sendai will be fully wrapped in Haikyuu!! designs: Ikebukuro West Exit, Kanda North Exit, Nagoya Osu, Osaka Fukushima, and Sendai. These locations will also sell collaboration-exclusive goods featuring the new illustrations.
The merchandise lineup includes:
- Acrylic stand: 1,870 yen
- Mochikororin (random): 1,320 yen
- Acrylic keyholder (random): 770 yen
- Can badge (random): 550 yen
- Polaroid shot collection (random): 500 yen
- Clear file: 550 yen
Some stores that are not wrapped will still sell the acrylic stand.
