The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tooru Shirogane’s Himekishi-sama no Himo light novel revealed additional staff, a teaser visual, and a teaser promotional video on Monday. The anime series will premiere in January 2027.

Chihiro Kumano (Unnamed Memory assistant director) is helming the anime at Blade, with Deko Akao (Ragna Crimson) handling the series composition. Hisao Ishii (Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete design assistant) is designing the characters.
Source Material
Shirogane began penning the action fantasy story under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2022, with illustrations by Saki Mashima. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on May 10, with the seventh volume planned for a July 10 release.
Manga Adaptation
A manga adaptation drawn by Key Yang began in September 2022. The third volume was released on December 26. Chihiro Yamazaki launched a sequel of the manga titled Himekishi-sama no Himo Act 2 on the same website in August 2025. Kadokawa released the first volume on January 27.
Licensing
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in 2023. The fifth light novel volume was released in October 2025, with the sixth volume scheduled for an August 1 release. The third manga volume went on sale on December 16 last year.
