Daimaru Sapporo Store is hosting a special pop-up event featuring official Nintendo merchandise from franchises including Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Pikmin. The event, titled Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SAPPORO「あつまれ だいまるデパー島」, will run from August 14 to September 6 on the 7th floor event space, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
The 7th floor venue will offer a wide selection of original goods, including items previously only available at Nintendo’s official stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Fukuoka. New Animal Crossing merchandise will also debut, such as aloha shirts and beach towels perfect for the summer season.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Super Mario series, the pop-up will feature original goods themed around iconic characters and items from the franchise.
A capsule toy called Controller Button Collection will be available, featuring buttons from the Famicom and the overseas NES—a surprise for collectors.
Within the pop-up, a dedicated Animal Crossing area will include photo spots such as the Tanuki Shop run by Mamekichi and Tsubukichi, and the Resort Hotel run by Kappei’s family. New related products are also planned.
On the 1st floor special venue, from August 14 to August 25, visitors can enjoy a Dodo Airlines plane balloon and photo spots featuring the game’s villagers.
