A new two-figure set from the TV anime Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc is now available for pre-order. The set includes a Kinnikuman figure standing approximately 17 cm tall and an Akuma Shogun figure at approximately 19.5 cm. Pre-orders close on July 14, 2026, at 23:00 JST.
About the Series
Kinnikuman is a martial arts manga created by Yudetamago (story by Shimada Takashi, art by Nakai Yoshinori) that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1979. It follows the clumsy, dim-witted superhero from Planet Kinniku as he grows through effort, friendship, and victory to become the strongest fighter in the superhero wrestling world. The series later moved to Weekly Playboy and ShuPlay News, where it continues today, with cumulative sales exceeding 77 million copies. The original anime aired in 1983 and sparked a massive boom, with over 180 million Kinkeshi erasers sold.
The new anime series Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc aired Season 1 from July to September 2024 and Season 2 from January to March 2025. It adapts the popular Perfect Origin Arc, which continues from the previously animated Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsuen. A Season 3 has also been greenlit, depicting the aftermath of the battle at the Tottori Sand Dunes special ring between the Justice and Devil alliance (Kinnikuman, Buffaloman, etc.) and the Perfect and Muryokugun army (Nemesis, etc.).

These figures are part of a new series called “Defo Burst Muscle,” emphasizing overwhelming presence with meticulous attention to detail—including the defeated masks and numerous wounds from the fierce battle. The fusion of battle damage and deformed aesthetics is a key highlight.
