A special collaboration model between the anime Fist of the North Star -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR- and Direct Cars has been announced: the “Apocalyptic Car Camping Legend: Fist of the North Star FIST OF THE NORTH STAR.” This limited-edition camper van will be unveiled at the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026 starting July 11, 2026, and will be sold in a strictly limited run of just 7 units, reflecting the series’ iconic number.

Fist of the North Star -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR- is a new anime adaptation of the legendary action manga Fist of the North Star by writer Buronson and artist Tetsuo Hara, which originally began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983. The series is produced with a new staff and cast using the latest animation technology to faithfully capture the appeal of the original work. Directed by Hiroshi Maeda, the animation is produced by TMS Entertainment / 7th Studio, and has been airing since April 2026. The cast includes Shunsuke Takeuchi as Kenshiro, Daiki Yamashita as Bat, M・A・O as Lin, Koji Yusa as Shin, Saori Hayami as Yuria, Yuichi Nakamura as Rei, Ruriko Aoki as Mamiya, Wataru Takagi as Jagi, Tsuguo Mogami as Toki, Daisuke Kusa as Raoh, and Koichi Yamadera as the narrator.

The exterior is equipped with a front brush guard and roof rack, while the interior features leather, iron-plate-style materials, and concrete-textured wall panels. This collaboration model allows fans to enjoy comfortable car camping while immersed in the world of the series.
Every detail of the special specification is steeped in the Fist of the North Star universe. A custom window-fill board is installed on the rear glass area.
The board features a character visual of the buyer’s choice from Kenshiro, Raoh, Toki, or Jagi on the right side, along with an original illustration and autograph by Tetsuo Hara himself, making it a highly satisfying piece for fans.
Another major feature of this model is the Big Dipper (Hokuto Shichisei) lighting effect on the ceiling. When lying down inside the vehicle, passengers can fall asleep gazing at the seven stars, offering a unique car camping experience exclusive to this collaboration.
Furthermore, the main switch’s startup screen displays an opening animation featuring the four Hokuto brothers and the logo from the anime Fist of the North Star -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR-.
The price is set at 7.77 million yen (tax included) and will be sold via lottery for the 7 limited units. The reservation application period runs from July 11 to September 13, which is “Fist of the North Star Day.” Applications can be submitted at the Tokyo Camping Car Show venue or at Direct Cars’ Suzuka, Atsugi, and Fukuoka stores.
