The summer anime Tomb Raider King has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for its first episode, “From the End, Again”, which begins airing on July 8, 2026.

Based on a Korean webtoon that has surpassed 5 billion global cumulative views, Tomb Raider King follows the story of a man who crawls back from hell to take revenge. Using the power of mythical artifacts, he becomes a “tomb raider” who steals everything from his enemies. The anime is directed by Woo Seung Wook, with animation production by STUDIO EEK. The Japanese dub features translation by Tomoko Fukudome, editing by Keigo Fukuda (Imagica EMS), and sound production by dugout.

In 2025, mysterious “tombs” appeared around the world, causing chaos. Inside these tombs lie “relics” that grant supernatural abilities to their owners. Some people used these relics to amass wealth. Gōriki Ryōka, who made a living by raiding tombs using the powers he obtained from relics, was betrayed by his employer Ōkawara Yasumasa and left for dead inside a tomb.
His life was saved by a mysterious crow relic that suddenly spoke to him. When Ryōka came to, he found himself transported 15 years into the past, to the time when the tombs first appeared. Burning with anger toward Ōkawara, Ryōka uses his memories and knowledge as weapons to bare his fangs at all the rulers who have seized wealth and power. The story of a man who rises to the top of the world with relics and becomes the true “Tomb Raider King” begins.
