Summer Anime ‘Tenmaku no Jaadougaru’ Episode 3 Preview: Shitara Introduces Herself as Fatima Before Tolui

Summer anime Tenmaku no Jaadougaru has released a synopsis and advance scene cuts for its third episode, titled “Keshienu Honoo” (The Unquenchable Flame), which will begin airing on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

The series is set in 13th-century Mongolia and follows a former slave girl, Shitara (later known as Fatima), who becomes a prisoner of the Mongol Empire. She meets Doregene, the sixth wife of the Mongol emperor, who also harbors complex feelings toward the empire. Together, they use their wits to shake the foundations of the empire.

Chief director is Yamada Naoko, director is Abel Gongora, and animation production is handled by Science SARU, known for works such as Dandadan, The Heike Story, and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!. The cast includes Sekine Akira as Shitara, Koshimizu Ami as Doregene, Kuwashima Houko as Fatima, Saitou Jun as Muhammad, Shimono Hiro as Ogotai, Suzuki Ryouta as Tolui, Irino Miyu as Shira, Namikawa Daisuke as Chagatai, and Nojima Kenji as Juchi.

Episode 3 Synopsis

In episode 3, Shira, seeking his own advancement, proposes to introduce the educated Shitara to Tolui. Shitara learns the reason why the “Genron” (Principles) was taken and Fatima was killed, and realizes that the only thing she can do is to recover the precious “Genron”. This also becomes a signal of revenge against the Mongol Empire that took everything from her. When granted an audience with Tolui, Shitara introduces herself as “Fatima”.
