Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 14 Rebroadcast: Inosuke’s Face Reveal Stuns Fans, Zenitsu’s Fateful Encounter with Nezuko

The full rebroadcast of the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series continued on July 12, 2026, with episode 14, “House with the Wisteria Family Crest.” Fans online were quick to react to the episode’s key moments, including the first proper look at Inosuke’s face and Zenitsu’s dramatic meeting with Nezuko.

Based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, the story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family is slaughtered by demons and whose sister Nezuko is turned into one. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a cure. The series has sold over 220 million copies of its collected volumes.

In episode 14, after defeating the drum demon Kyogai, Tanjiro exits the mansion to find Zenitsu badly beaten and protecting the box containing Nezuko. The culprit is a boar-headed man. Tanjiro punches him in the stomach and demands to know if he is a Demon Slayer. The boar-headed man then attacks Tanjiro with incredible flexibility, praising himself twice. Viewers commented: “Inosuke back then was really a wild child…” and “Tanjiro’s serious punch that broke ribs is insane!!”

When Tanjiro headbutts the boar-headed man, the mask falls off, revealing a beautiful face with long eyelashes and big eyes. Zenitsu mutters, “A muscular body with a girl-like face on top.” Tanjiro compliments him, saying he is small and pale-skinned. The internet erupted: “Inosuke’s face!” “Inosuke is a beautiful girl!” “The gap is too much!” The boar-headed man introduces himself as Hashibira Inosuke before passing out from a concussion.

“Pure but Misaligned Tanjiro”

When Inosuke wakes, he challenges Zenitsu, but Tanjiro asks him to help bury the dead. Inosuke refuses, saying burying corpses is meaningless. Tanjiro misunderstands, thinking Inosuke is in pain from his injuries. Zenitsu is exasperated: “Both of them are weird.” Eventually Inosuke helps. Fans loved the exchange: “The conversation between Tanjiro and Inosuke is so funny!” “Pure but misaligned Tanjiro is adorable.”

“Yep, Severe Injuries”

Following a crow’s instructions, the group descends the mountain and arrives at a house with a wisteria crest, a resting place for demon slayers. They receive clothes, food, and futons. A doctor diagnoses them: Zenitsu has two broken ribs, Tanjiro three, and Inosuke four. Inosuke complains more about the bump from Tanjiro’s headbutt than his ribs. Fans joked: “All of them have broken ribs lol” “Total of 9 ribs broken lol”

Zenitsu’s Fateful Encounter

Lying in bed, the three talk like students on a school trip. Inosuke reveals why he joined the Corps, and Zenitsu asks Tanjiro about the demon he carries. Suddenly, the box shakes and Nezuko peeks out. Zenitsu panics, then sees her cute face and becomes furious: “What a nice life you have!” He rants about Tanjiro traveling with a cute girl. Fans loved the scene: “Nezuko-chan is so cute!” “Zenitsu’s first meeting with Nezuko is the best.” “The comedy is accelerating now that the trio is together.”

Voice Actor Comment: Matsuoka Yoshitsugu as Inosuke

The official Kimetsu no Yaiba account has been posting cast comments for each rebroadcast episode. For episode 14, Inosuke’s voice actor Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (known for Kirito in Sword Art Online and Uesugi Fuutarou in The Quintessential Quintuplets) said: “I want viewers to compare the Inosuke of now with the one from this episode. His personality hasn’t changed much, but the fire in his heart is completely different. The guy who once said ‘What’s the point of burying dead bodies?’ can now cry for others. I feel his growth.”

Next Episode Preview

The next rebroadcast will feature a special “Kimetsu Gakuen” story titled “Consistent from Elementary to High School!!” In it, physical education teacher Tomioka Giyuu instructs students to remove their piercings and button their shirts.

The full series rebroadcast began on April 5, 2026, just before the seventh anniversary of the original premiere on April 6, 2019. Episode 14 drew comments like “Now that the three are together, the comedy is accelerating” and “This week was just noisy but reassuring.”
