The second cour of Yoroi Shinden Samurai Trooper kicked off on July 7, 2026, with a dramatic turn of events. After the demon emperor Ramaga was sealed inside Kai’s body at great cost, three months of peace were shattered when the four Samurai Troopers detected new disturbances in the Demon Realm. Their investigation led them to a shocking reunion: Ramaga still controlling Kai, the former Ten Warriors drawn by the commotion, and the true instigator—the Heavenly Guidance Realm. A new, chaotic battle was about to begin.

Samurai Allied Forces Finally Formed!
The episode opens with a three-way standoff between the Samurai Troopers, the Demon Realm (now including the former Ten Warriors), and the Heavenly Guidance Realm (represented by Inmei and Ryusei). Viewers were on edge watching Kai, possessed by Ramaga, and Ryusei reappearing as an enemy. Many fans expressed disbelief: “Is Ryusei brainwashed, or is this his own will?” Others were simply relieved: “At least he’s alive.”
It is revealed that Ryusei was taken to the Heavenly Guidance Realm just before his apparent death and underwent a “baptism” by Sagume, transforming him into a god-like being tasked with purifying humanity. He now stands against the Samurai Troopers—not to eliminate them, but because they too are baptismal envoys with special powers.
Meanwhile, Ramaga is exposed as the second-in-command of the Heavenly Guidance Realm, who stole the three sacred treasures and forcibly baptized the five young Ten Warriors to summon the Overlord Emperor. This revelation stunned viewers: “So the Ten Warriors were originally human!” and “The scars on their faces are marks of baptism.” Some fans drew parallels to the four demon generals from the original Yoroi Den Samurai Trooper—Shuten, Naaza, Anubis, and Rajura—who were once seals for Arago’s armor but later fought alongside the heroes.
With the truth laid bare, the Ten Warriors regain their lost memories. In a pivotal moment, Sasuke declares:
“You (Inmei) are mistaken. Sure, this place (the Demon Realm) is a dump. But it’s also the home where we lived with our comrades! It’s not a place for scumbags like you to do as you please!”
This sparks a battle between the Demon Realm and the Heavenly Guidance Realm. Fans cheered: “Sasuke is so hot-blooded!” “He’s like a Heisei-era protagonist.” “Sasuke is the real main character here!” The Samurai Troopers then join the fray, forming an unexpected alliance against the common enemy. “Don’t hold us back!” “Same to you!”—the team-up fans had dreamed of finally happened.
But one piece was still missing: Kai, still trapped inside Ramaga. Sasuke, remembering how Kai protected the young Ten Warriors, lends his strength to free him. With the power of the “Seiha no Tsurugi” (Sword of Conquest) infused with flame by Rekka no Ryou, a miracle occurs—Kai is released!
“Kai!?!?!?!?” “He’s back!” “Welcome home, Kai!” The emotional return was met with overwhelming joy. Fans also praised Ryou: “No matter how many years pass, Sanada Ryou always brings miracles. So incredibly hype!” The episode was packed with so much content that viewers struggled to process it all, but the two major highlights—the alliance and Kai’s resurrection—left everyone eager for what comes next.
