From July 17 to August 23, 2026, the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama will host a special event celebrating the third anniversary of the sleep-tracking app Pokémon Sleep. Titled “Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary 横浜でみっけ！ポケモンねがおリサーチ presented by MITSUBISHI ESTATE GROUP,” the event will take place at Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minato Mirai, featuring a giant sleeping Snorlax, a stamp rally, exclusive merchandise, and more.
What is Pokémon Sleep?
Pokémon Sleep is a sleep game app that launched in July 2023, designed to make waking up fun. By using a smartphone to measure, record, and analyze sleep, players can collect various sleeping Pokémon faces. Recording sleep causes Pokémon with similar sleep patterns to gather around Snorlax. Since 2024, the app has also supported data from smartwatches. The global release will mark its third anniversary on July 20.
Explore Sleeping Pokémon Across Minato Mirai
During the event period, visitors can encounter Pokémon sleeping peacefully at both Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minato Mirai. Pokémon such as Dedenne, Mimikyu, Numacraw, and Kangaskhan will be found dozing in various spots. Guests are encouraged to search for these “sleeping faces” (ねがお) and enjoy the research.
Stamp Rally and Giant Snorlax
A stamp rally will be held across the two venues. Stamp cards can be obtained at the “Ekimae Hiroba” on B4F of MARK IS Minato Mirai, just outside the central ticket gate of Minato Mirai Station, where a Snorlax will greet visitors. Participants can collect stamps at designated corners in Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minato Mirai. The indoor route offers a comfortable activity even during the hot summer.
At Landmark Plaza, a large sleeping Snorlax will appear in a special area called “Oyasumi Snorlax Hiroba.” Photos of Pokémon sleeping faces will be displayed around Snorlax, creating a soothing atmosphere perfect for commemorative photos.
Message Corner and Mega Pokémon Gacha
A message corner will allow visitors to write on berry-shaped cards and decorate them around Snorlax, celebrating the app’s third anniversary together with the Pokémon. At the event space on the 3rd floor of Landmark Plaza, a “Mega Pokémon Gacha” will offer random muffler towels featuring Pokémon Sleep designs, with four types available.
Exclusive Merchandise at Pokémon Sleep Shop
MARK IS Minato Mirai will host a “Pokémon Sleep Shop” selling original event goods. Among the items are a Pokémon 30th anniversary pin badge featuring the Pokémon Sleep logo and a large Snorlax cushion measuring approximately 70 cm wide by 60 cm tall. Other goods include a shopping bag, T-shirt, a carry pouch designed to look like a sleeping face photo, a clear bottle, a bucket hat, and “Oyasumi Pukupuku Stickers” (puffy stickers).
Drink Stand and Nap Recovery Device
For a break during the stamp rally, a “Pokémon Sleep Drink Stand” will offer four types of beverages inspired by drinks in the app, such as “Hayaoiki Coffee Jelly” (early morning coffee jelly) and “Akuma no Kiss Fruit Oli” (devil’s kiss fruit milk). At MARK IS Minato Mirai, visitors can also experience the “Ohirune Kaifuku Souchi supported by TOTONE,” a nap recovery device with a Poké Ball design that incorporates Pokémon Sleep-themed effects.

The event “Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary 横浜でみっけ！ポケモンねがおリサーチ presented by MITSUBISHI ESTATE GROUP” runs from July 17 to August 23, 2026, at Landmark Plaza (2-2-1 Minato Mirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama) and MARK IS Minato Mirai (3-5-1 Minato Mirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama). Event hours are 10:00 to 19:00. Co-hosted by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. and The Pokémon Company. Entry to the stamp rally and event areas is free. Note that the goods shop has been moved to MARK IS Minato Mirai. Locations of areas and corners are subject to change.
