Dive into Battle with New Touken Danshi Kobizen Nobufusa in Touken Ranbu ONLINE’s Rentaisen ~Umibe no Jin~ Event!
Good news for all Saniwa out there! The popular sword-raising simulation game, Touken Ranbu ONLINE, has just kicked off a new event and updates following its maintenance on July 1st. Players can now get their hands on the brand new Touken Danshi, Kobizen Nobufusa (kobizen nobufusa), voiced by the talented Ootsuka Takeo, through the special event “Rentaisen ~Umibe no Jin~”. Adding to the excitement, the game is also celebrating with a “Tanabata Campaign” featuring the beautiful Keishu “Natsu no Niwa・Yoru Tanabata”. And that’s not all – Kitatani Nakiri, voiced by Nakamaru Shuugo, has received his highly anticipated Kiwame form!
『Tourabu』, or Touken Ranbu ONLINE, is a sword-raising simulation game for PC browsers and smartphones where players become a Saniwa and lead renowned historical swords, transformed into warriors known as Touken Danshi, to protect history. Players collect and raise 8 types of unique Touken Danshi – Tantou, Wakizashi, Uchigatana, Tachi, Ootachi, Naginata, Yari, and Tsurugi – forming their own units to conquer various battlefields.
Nitroplus is responsible for the world design, scenario, and character design, and the game has surpassed 14 million cumulative users. It has successfully expanded into various media, including anime, musicals, console games, stage plays, movies, and kabuki, taking the entertainment world by storm and contributing to a nationwide boom in interest in Japanese swords.
In this latest update, following the maintenance on July 1st, the new Touken Danshi Kobizen Nobufusa, voiced by Ootsuka Takeo, has appeared as a reward in the “Rentaisen ~Umibe no Jin~” event. Illustrated by Senzaki Makoto, Kobizen Nobufusa is a character of the Tachi sword type, belonging to the Kobizen school.
In the introduction PV, you can hear Ootsuka deliver Kobizen Nobufusa’s line: “I’m Kobiizen Nobu-boo, the wave rider who can even conquer the rough seas of the world! Of course, I’m Shoonai Love~!”
The “Rentaisen ~Umibe no Jin~” event, which includes Kobizen Nobufusa as a reward, challenges players to defeat successive waves of enemy units using their First to Fifth Units. The event is currently running until July 29th at 12:59 PM JST. Make sure to check it out, alongside the limited-time Keishu “Natsu no Niwa・Yoru Tanabata” available during the “Tanabata Campaign” and the newly implemented Kiwame form for Kitatani Nakiri, voiced by Nakamaru Shuugo!
