Anime Pan Dorobou is swinging for the fences with a new collaboration featuring all six teams of Nippon Professional Baseball’s Pacific League. Special collaboration goods will go on sale from July 31, 2026, at each team’s official shop.
About Pan Dorobou
The Pan Dorobou picture book series by Shibata Keiko has sold over 5.5 million copies. It follows the mischievous and lovable bread thief as he searches for delicious bread, causing trouble along the way. An anime adaptation directed by Kyogoku Takahiko and produced by Shin-Ei Animation is set to air on NHK E-Tele from October 2026. Asai Ayaka voices the bread thief, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu performs the ending theme.

To celebrate the anime, Pan Dorobou is joining forces with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, Saitama Seibu Lions, Chiba Lotte Marines, Orix Buffaloes, and Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. Original illustrations show the bread thief wearing each team’s cap, holding a bat, or cheering — all in an adorable baseball style.
