To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Evangelion series, six new capsule toys from Shin Seiki Evangelion are launching all at once. The lineup includes rubber keychains featuring memorable dialogue, metal keychains with classic episode subtitles, and acrylic keychains based on the opening cuts.
The Evangelion series began with the 1995 TV anime Shin Seiki Evangelion, an original story about young pilots who control the humanoid weapons called Evangelions to battle mysterious enemies known as Angels. From 2007, the Evangelion Shin Gekijouban series started, and the final film, Shin Evangelion Gekijouban, was released in 2021.
Now, the opening cuts of the original series have been turned into acrylic keychains with a retro CRT monitor motif. In addition, heavy metal keychains featuring familiar episode subtitles, and rubber keychains that capture famous lines in a 10 cm length are also appearing. All items are scheduled for release in August and September 2026.
