A new collection of deformed seal wafers from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba is on the way. The Niformation Kimetsu no Yaiba Deformed Seal Wafer Sono 16 will hit shelves at confectionery sections of nationwide mass retailers in November 2026.
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published by Shueisha in Jump Comics with all 23 volumes released and cumulative print run exceeding 150 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family is killed by demons and whose sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to fight demons and find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human. The series is beloved for its poignant human-demon drama, intense sword fights, charming characters, and occasional comedic moments.
Animation studio ufotable has produced the anime series, starting with TV Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Tanjirou Kamado, Risshi-hen in April 2019. The story continued with TV Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Training Arc from May 2024, and the Movie Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle is being produced as a trilogy, with Chapter 1: Akaza’s Return released on July 18, 2025. A full rerun of the entire series began on April 5, 2026, airing every Sunday at 9:30 AM.
“Niformation” is a portmanteau of “ni” (two-head-tall) and “deformed” illustration, creating a sticker collection that expresses the charm of the work.
