Premium Bandai has announced a re-release of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Portrait Bath Towel Series 9 (3 Types) [Re-Release]”, and pre-orders are now open. Priced at 4,620 yen (tax included), the towels are scheduled to ship in September 2026.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published by Shueisha in Jump Comics with 23 volumes and over 220 million copies in circulation. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family is killed by demons and whose sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to fight demons and find a way to restore her humanity. The series is known for its poignant human-demon stories, intense sword fights, charming characters, and occasional comedic moments.
Animation studio ufotable has produced the series, starting with the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc in April 2019. The final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons takes place in the Infinity Castle, adapted as a theatrical trilogy titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc. The first chapter, Akaza’s Return, was released on July 18, 2025. Although it did not win, the film was nominated for the Best Animated Feature Film award at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, often considered a precursor to the Academy Awards, making it the only Japanese work nominated in that category.
The re-released “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Portrait Bath Towel Series 9 (3 Types) [Re-Release]” features three Upper Moon demons who appear in the Infinity Castle arc: Akaza, Doma, and Kaigaku.
Each towel measures approximately 120 cm in length and features a full-color print of the character’s portrait illustration. Made of polyester, the towel can be used as a bath towel, displayed on a wall, or worn as a cape. This is a great opportunity to secure one.
