Fans of Haikyuu!! can now enjoy a taste of Miyagi Prefecture alongside their favorite characters. A new collaboration between the anime and long-established sasa kamaboko maker Kanezaki brings limited-edition fish cakes featuring original illustrations of Hinata Shouyou and Kageyama Tobio.
New Artwork Shows Hinata and Kageyama Enjoying Local Soul Food
The collaboration uses newly drawn visuals of Hinata and Kageyama visiting the Kanezaki main store, Sasa Kamaboko Kan, and happily eating sasa kamaboko—a beloved local specialty of Miyagi. These illustrations appear on special wrapping paper and come with exclusive novelties attached to the products.
Product Lineup: Dateage and Tairyoubata with Character Keychains
Dateage (6 pieces) – A popular item with a compact size and the aroma of Sendai miso. Each package comes with a Hinata keychain.
Tairyoubata (4 pieces) – A premium sasa kamaboko that is a flagship product of Kanezaki, described as the “king” of their lineup. This set includes a Kageyama keychain.
For online purchases, a set combining Tairyoubata (4 pieces) and Dateage (6 pieces) is available, with a bonus clear card featuring the Hinata and Kageyama illustrations.
Exclusive Collaboration Goods
In addition to the kamaboko, original Haikyuu!! × Kanezaki merchandise will be sold. The lineup includes an acrylic figure stand, a can badge set, and a B2 half tapestry—all designed so fans can display the two characters together.
Sales Period and Locations
The collaboration runs from August 1 (Saturday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026. Products are available at Kanezaki stores (including the main Sasa Kamaboko Kan, S-PAL Sendai, Sendai Station Hare Machi Court, and Aeon Mall Sendai Uesugi) as well as via Chugaionline. Note that the collaboration kamaboko are limited in quantity and will end once sold out. Standing panel displays will also be set up at participating locations.
