Fans of Touken Ranbu ONLINE can look forward to a new set of 2027 planners, now available for preorder. This year’s lineup includes 14 different designs, featuring both beloved sword warriors and newly added characters from the Ukai school—Unsei and Unji—as well as Futasujihi Sadamune. The planners are the 12th annual edition of such merchandise for the franchise.
Touken Ranbu ONLINE is a sword-training simulation game that has surpassed 14 million cumulative users. Players take on the role of a “Saniwa” who leads sword warriors—anthropomorphized famous blades—into battle to protect history. The game features eight weapon types: tantō, wakizashi, uchigatana, tachi, ōdachi, naginata, yari, and ken.
Design and Features
The cover of each planner is crafted with a luxurious woven fabric that reproduces the image of the corresponding sword warrior. A multi-layered cut design adds a three-dimensional effect, while the subdued color palette makes it suitable for everyday use.
Inside, the sword warrior’s name is discreetly engraved, giving a special feel each time the planner is opened. Practical features include a pen holder and pockets for added convenience.
The monthly and weekly pages are decorated at the bottom with the crests of all sword warriors implemented up to June 2026 (including Namihei Yasuyuki). Monthly pages also feature seasonal illustrations and depictions of seasonal fruits and vegetables, allowing users to enjoy the passage of the year.
The right side of the weekly pages is a generous memo space, ideal for meeting notes or sticking tickets. At the back, a reference section includes a complete list of sword warrior crests and a forging record, letting fans immerse themselves in the world of Touken Ranbu throughout the year.
Preorder and Pricing
Preorders for the Touken Ranbu ONLINE 2027 Planner (14 types) open on July 29, 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:00 JST, and will close once the allocated quantity is reached. Delivery is scheduled for December 2026.
